Bridge Move In Findlay, Ohio

Dingey Movers were hired to move this historical bridge to a new location where the bridge will undergo a full restoration process to bring the bridge back to it's original condition when it was first manufactured back in the 1800's. The bridge was strategically raised and all concrete and original sandstone blocks on each side of the bridge was removed to allow the bridge to be lowered and moved to the new location. Steel beams and plates were placed under the bridge to allow the bridge to cross the creek below. The bridge has successfully been moved and is currently sitting at a temporary site awaiting the contractor to finish the new landing site where the bridge will then be moved and placed in it's new location.
